The main fundraiser. All money raised on a team fundraiser, previously called a connected fundraiser, goes to the main fundraiser and is paid out from there. To receive donations for a cause of your own, start a separate fundraiser instead.
Whose name appears as Beneficiary
The Beneficiary shown on a team fundraiser is the main fundraiser's beneficiary. If the main fundraiser has no beneficiary set, it is the main fundraiser's organizer. Whoever creates a team fundraiser cannot set a beneficiary of their own.
What the donation receipt says
A receipt for a donation to a team fundraiser names that same beneficiary.
Who is shown as organizer
The organizer shown on a team fundraiser is the person who created it, not the organizer of the main fundraiser.
